2023 IMiA Conference in Australia will feature Dr. Denise Hien
Dr. Denise Hien, Director of the Center of Alcohol & Substance Use Studies, will be a featured speaker and presenter at the February 2023 International Medicine in Addiction Conference (IMiA) in Melbourne, Australia. Her keynote will address the topic “Defining the next decade of treatments for traumatic stress and addiction” and her related workshop will elaborate on translating research to practice.
This seventh annual multi-day IMiA conference will examine a variety of current topics, drawing a diverse international audience of more than 600 in-person attendees, including general practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians and practice nurses interested in, or practicing in, addiction medicine. This year, the inclusion of a virtual audience will expand the reach of the conference.
