National Institute of Drug Abuse to study cannabis use disorder in medical marijuana patients
Researchers at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) have recently received a grant from the National Institute of Drug Abuse to study cannabis use disorder in medical marijuana patients, specifically smoking or vaping cannabis effects. Dr. Tammy Chung, a professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Director of the Center for Population Behavioral Health and a Center of Alcohol and Substance Use affiliate is the project lead for this grant.
