Community Health Law Project (CHLP) Ann Klein Advocate Awards
The Community Health Law Project (CHLP) honored Peggy Swarbrick, FAOTA, at its annual Ann Klein Advocate Awards event on Oct. 24, 2024. “As a Research Professor at Rutgers, Scarlet𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 Director, Professor, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and Associate Director of the Center of Alcohol & Substance Use Studies, Dr. Swarbrick has spent 26 years leading wellness and recovery efforts at the Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey. She developed a strengths-based 8-dimensional wellness model focusing on wellness coaching, peer support, social determinants of health, financial wellness, employment, and professional self-care,” CHLP shared in its honoree announcement. In 1988, the CHLP began awarding the Ann Klein Advocate Award. The award is annually presented to individuals or groups for their exemplary working towards better accessibility for persons living with disabilities.
