Dr. Greenfield is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and the Kristine M. Trustey Endowed Chair of Psychiatry at McLean Hospital, where she also serves as Chief Academic Officer. She is renowned for her work in addiction psychiatry, particularly on gender differences in substance use disorders, and developed the Women’s Recovery Group (WRG), an evidence-based group therapy model for women with substance use disorders. Dr. Greenfield has held prominent leadership roles, including Past President of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, and has received numerous awards for her contributions to addiction research, mentoring, and community service.
