| As a project director, Dr. Violette has managed primary data collection for federally and state funded addiction treatment outcomes studies at Rutgers CAS, Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute, and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, UMDNJ. In these roles, Dr. Violette has conducted trainings on behalf of these organizations to practitioners, researchers, program managers, administrators and policymakers. She has served as a consultant on the recruitment and retention of addiction research respondents for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Clinical Trials Network. Dr. Violette currently is a trainer for Rutgers University School of Social Work, New Jersey -National Association of Social Workers and Adelphi University, School of Social Work. Dr. Violette has taught Human Behavior and the Social Environment, Advanced Direct Clinical Practice, Research, and various addiction related courses to graduate students in social work. She currently serves as a member of the adjunct faculty of Rutgers, School of Social Work. Dr. Violette maintains a psychotherapy practice. | |
