Dr. Milgram began working at the Center of Alcohol Studies as a graduate student after the Center moved to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey from Yale University. She has been a member of the Center’s faculty since 1971 and has been the Director of the Education and Training Division since 1980. As Director of the Education and Training Division, she directs the School of Alcohol and Drug Studies, the Institute of Alcohol and Drug Studies, and the Continuing Professional Education Seminars. Dr. Milgram also jointly directed the International School of Alcohol and Drug Studies through a partnership with Hazelden in the 1990s. She was also the founding Director of the Johnson & Johnson School Nurse Fellowship Program in 1988, which is now the Johnson & Johnson School Health Leadership Program.
