Professional Contributions

Development and implementation a Stress-management Program for Rutgers students-athletes based on Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback training. 2007-2008.

Implementation a new physiological approach for alcohol studies. Method is based on cardiovascular resonant response to rhythmical stimuli, and is sensitive to characterize emotional regulation. Approach described in paper accepted for publication in “Psychophysiology” journal. 2005 - 2007.

Bronya Vaschillo, M.D. is a Research Associate in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at the Center of Alcohol Studies. She earned her Medical Degree in Saint Petersburg Medical University, Russia, and joined the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory in 2004 to participate in the integrated cognitive psychology and neuroscience research aimed at understanding alcohol and other drug effects. She also worked for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a Research Associate on developing biofeedback methods. She was in charge of data collection, analysis, and statistical processing for the Ministry of Health of Russia, and developing methodological guidelines for medical doctors.
