SUBSTANCE ABUSE RESOURCES ON THE WEB

Alcohol and other drug education in the U.S. has existed since the Temperance Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. From "scientific temperance education" to "resistance skills training," educators have investigated a variety of classroom approaches to deal with substance use/abuse issues. In the 21st century the Internet has become a powerful tool to help educators locate substance abuse information.
The websites listed below offer a range of information and resources designed to help educators better understand substance abuse issues and to locate classroom materials.
