COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE LABORATORY
Mission
-
To conduct integrated cognitive psychology and neuroscience research aimed at understanding alcohol and other drug effects in humans and advancing the treatment of addictive behaviors.

To provide training for undergraduate and graduate students in basic and applied human neuroscience research.
Areas of active research include:
- neuropsychological models of addictions treatment outcome
- neuropsychological and cognitive assessment in normal and psychiatric populations
- magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and neuropsychological assessment of children diagnosed with autism spectrum and bipolar disorders and normally developing children
- alcohol challenge effects on implicit and explicit memory
- memory and psychophysiological arousal at varying developmental stages of drug exposure
